Only ten minutes’ walk from the apartment you will find The El Casón de Riquelme Restaurant, set in the resort's 19th-century colonial-style Hacienda; it has seating inside, with an outside terrace area, looking out over the original walled gardens.

The rest of the resort centre follows the same architectural style and contains a golf shop and supermarket. The El Palomar Bar, set in a restored dovecote, overlooks the golf course and is open for drinks and snacks in the summer.

The local village of Sucina is only 2km away and has countless bars and restaurants. There are shuttle buses during the summer – ideal for the many fiestas which often sees the village centre closed to traffic with tables and chairs in the streets and live music creating a great atmosphere for the whole family

Two of the restaurants will pick and return you to the resort all year round for free.

For the sun worshipper the nearest beach is 15 minutes’ drive away in San Javier and there are countless other sandy beaches all along the coast or alternatively explore the surrounding stunning countryside. There are plenty of historical towns nearby like Murcia City with its spectacular Cathedral and traditional Murcian cuisine or why not visit the Roman Amphitheatre in Cartagena
